My Local LYS and the knit group there

This morning I decided to attend the local sit and knit at A Good Yarn in Windsor. I had never been. I am so glad I went. Each lady was so warm and lovely and it felt good to sit with people and just have a good time.

I picked up some yarn to make a gift for my step daughter. She is pregnant and has less than a month to go. I am going to make the baby a kimono type wrap as seen in Mason Dixon Knitting.

And yes I do plan to post photos.

Today I was able to finish a set of socks and this afternoon I began a set of hand warmers for my friend A~. I am using Anne Hanson's pattern Hot Waffles because I love her designs and this one is super easy.
