Neckline Shaping - I am using techniques I used from the Lucy Neatby DVD's.
Rather than bind off two stitches every other row for three rows, I purl/knit togeher two stitches for six rows at the neck hole bind off. This eliminates that weird stair step effect.

Here I am using Lucy Neatby's instructions for short row shaping at the shoulder to create a smooth line for when I need to stitch together the shoulder seams.

I finished the back Friday 12/18, started the left front and was able to get that finished late Saturday 12/19. I started the ribbing on Sunday morning and on the drive down to San Jose I discovered that I needed to do it again because I did not read the instructions a second time. Had I done that I would have know to begin the ribbing with a purl stitch for the Right Front of the sweater. The rest of the cabling was done on the drive home from San Jose last night (This due to my husband being a super cool guy and allowing me to have the overhead light on in the Jeep on the drive home).

Left Front
I hope to get to the sleeves this week.
